An automated external defibrillator (or AED) can greatly increases the chances of survival during a cardiac arrest well over 50% if applied as soon as possible. For every minute that passes by, the chances of survival drop 10-12%. All students will learn how to properly set up and deliver a high voltage shock to the body in order to restore a normal heart beat rhythm in which restores blood flow to the brain.
When you attend our Mississauga emergency standard first aid CPR AED certification classes, you will become trained to confidently use an automated external defibrillator! We are certified partners with The Canadian Red Cross!
