The Academy For First Aid & Safety is currently seeking qualified first aid & CPR instructors to join our growing company! We currently have openings available for qualified instructors to teach first aid & CPR courses all across the greater Toronto area at our training facilities, as well as at company paid training seminars.

TORONTO PUBLIC HEALTH GROUP TRAINING PROFILE:

The Academy for First Aid and Safety employs only experienced WSIB approved first aid and first responder instructors! We have over a decade of experience teaching first aid, CPR, basic life support (HCP). Rest assured, when you come to our classes, you are taught by experienced first aid and CPR first responder instructors. Check out the video to the side: This was at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre during the Covid-19 pandemic in February 2021 where The Academy for First Aid and Safety was the selected vendor to teach Toronto Public Health nurses CPR and AED! We were certainly selected as the successful vendor for a reason, and that reason is KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE!

How to become an instructor at The Academy for First Aid and Safety?

INSTRUCTOR REQUIREMENTS:

You MUST have a valid WSIB approved first aid and CPR instructor certificate, issued by a WSIB approved first aid training provider, such as The Canadian Red Cross, Heart and Stroke Foundation, St. John’s Ambulance, EMT Canada, etc.

The Academy for First Aid and Safety is an authorized provider under EMT Canada. There is a 1 day class that you must take (compensated 4 hours) to test your skills to the Master Instructor. Upon successful completion, you will be certified to teach .

Your employment as a contactor to The Academy for First Aid and Safety does involve travelling to various locations, therefore access to a vehicle is a must. If you possess your own CPR and AED equipment, this is an added bonus!
